Chickens in the Basement

I love to write and I love to laugh. When I write, I get to the point quick. My stories would fit on the back of a postcard. They usually make me chuckle. And you know what they say, "It's all about me!"

Father's Day!

So, what do you get a dad who already has everything? The kids don't have any ideas (that we can afford). I'm at a loss. What's a motha to do? Go to e-bay and type in Father's Day gift ideas. You won't believe what pops up (n0 pun intended)!

I swear! Click on the photo and it will take you to the link!
"So, what did your daughter give you for Father's Day?"
"Aw, she's the best! She gave me this really cool Playboy DVD!"
That's just wrong! And really, REALLY creepy!

Oh, Lordy! I don't think so..... Maybe if Dad is an artist, but i DOUBT it! I will be giving DH just what he got me for Mother's day - Nada. He'll probably get the same as I got from our son - Nada! We just don't DO holidays around here.

Hahahahaha! I think I am giving my husband an ice maker. We have an old fridge to go along with our old house and alas no ice maker. My husband is a big time ice tea drinker so he goes through a lot of ice and filling up those plastic trays bug the hell out of me. Not to mention when they are always left on the counter with one cube hole filled with melted ice! The kids are buying him a pear tree and I know he will LOVE that!! Good luck shopping!

We've run out of Father's Day gift ideas, too. We'll probably go for our usual present -- a gift card at a local bait and tackle shop. (I think we'll pass on your eBay find! So wrong, but I'm not surprised that it popped up.)

But don't you think it would be really cool for your BOYS to give that to their dad???? Just don't let them take it into their room to wrap it or he'll never see it.
