Chickens in the Basement

I love to write and I love to laugh. When I write, I get to the point quick. My stories would fit on the back of a postcard. They usually make me chuckle. And you know what they say, "It's all about me!"

They're Growing!

Across the street...
When they aren't sleeping, their eyes are open!
Did you ever wonder what a baby peacock looks like?

And, the ducks are getting duckier!
(We need to schedule a manicure for Neighbor Mary!)

Oh my, that baby peacock is a real "ugly duckling" isn't it? BUT - - - I KNOW it will fluff up and be just gorgeous.

I've NEVER seen a baby peacock. Thanks for that.

There used to be a peacock living along a track where I ride.
Each time we approached he'd run out with feathers fanned, and terrify the horses!
One day the fox got him, so the coast was clear at last but the horses always tiptoed past the Peacock-Spot "just in case" his ghost appeared!

It's like having your own petting zoo right in the backyard. You can charge admission and the kindergarten classes will come. you know" if you build it, they will come."

How adorable are these babies! My bay wrens left a few days ago - seems they waited for me to get home!

Anna - it was such an amazing trip and we four gals had the most fabulous time. I'm already planning how I can return some day......once is not enough!

Hope to see you soon - know you are working but hope you get some time off.

My BFF's and I took a roadtrip to Oklahoma City and just got back. I flew to Texas. But when you get ready to take a road trip and want a companion...give me a call!

I'm so glad we're both busy at the same time since I haven't been at the computer for several days just like you and I wanted to be sure to leave a comment about Mary's nails. Ha ha, you thought I was going to say "about the cute bunnies and birdies" didn't you? I see nothing wrong with her nails, but then they look EXACTLY like mine!
