Chickens in the Basement

I love to write and I love to laugh. When I write, I get to the point quick. My stories would fit on the back of a postcard. They usually make me chuckle. And you know what they say, "It's all about me!"

Good Quote

I'm not feeling very creative today, so I'm going to pass along a quote I got in an e-mail today. I hope it's one I can live up to...

"I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one." Maya Angelou

What is the quote you live by?

Great quote! One of my favorites, by Eleanor Roosevelt, is tea related...

A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.

Maya Angelou can be a bit stuffy at times but that's a great quote. Someone I've been dealing with ALOT lately could use this advice.

Forgot to give you my fav quote: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Or for the snarky crowd: Do unto others before they do it to you!

Always be kind to other people and don't gossip about them behind their back! It's always been a good one to live by.
