Chickens in the Basement

I love to write and I love to laugh. When I write, I get to the point quick. My stories would fit on the back of a postcard. They usually make me chuckle. And you know what they say, "It's all about me!"

What's This?

Last Saturday, I found this cute little vase at a yard sale. Whenever I look at it, I have to lean my head a little to the right. Of course, I had to cut flowers to make it beautifuler!

On the bank out front, I found this. I didn't plant it and have no idea what it is. At first glance, I thought it was Lamb's Ears because of the top of the flower.
Here's a closer look at the flower...
Does anyone have an idea what this is? Does it multiply? Do I want it to grow on my front bank or not?

UPDATE: Today was my first day back in the working world. I really enjoyed it. I think I can be helpful to this non profit group. Everyone I met was so nice and friendly. I'm old enough to be my boss' mother!

It looks like Lady Slipper. If it is...WOW! Keep it and let it grow and grow! It is an endangered flower so....WOW!

No idea what that is - when Louise gets back, maybe she can tell you.

I never find anything worth buying at sales :(

So, first day on the job wasn't a nightmare - sounds great! Everybody is younger anymore. :)

Pretty flowers and such a nice spring color. Someone out there is sure to know. First day is behind you, it's all downhill from here.

Flowers and Vintage Christine don't get along unless someone buys me a big bunch--so I'd have no clue about that thing. I'll lay money those people are going to want to keep you on full-time because you're gonna make 'em laugh the whole live-long day. Have fun, oh worker bee!

Crap! I got interrupted and forgot what I was gonna say! It's a pretty flower. No clue what it is. I'd want it to grow, but I'd probably transplant it. Working is so much fun....for about the first two or three weeks! Have a great weekend!

I'm usually pretty good when it comes to plant and flower IDing, but this one is eluding me lol... Very pretty, not quite a Lady Slipper or Lupin, but close...

Have not idea what it is. Don't think it is Lady Slipper though, not big enough blooms. But it is pretty. Have a great weekend!
