Chickens in the Basement

I love to write and I love to laugh. When I write, I get to the point quick. My stories would fit on the back of a postcard. They usually make me chuckle. And you know what they say, "It's all about me!"

It's a Boy!

It's official! Hazel's a boy!
Dammit!
Yea, he has all of the dangly bits, but so do some of the girls.
Still no cock-a-doodles from this little fellow.
But when Hazel mounts Cora in front of City Folk company, it's as good as a cock-a-doodle-doo.
Plus, it freaks out the City Folk!
Hazel is lucky he wasn't pecked in the eye for his efforts!
I just hope Cora wasn't his mother!

Uh-oh! What're you gonna do? Keep him? He sure is pretty. His head looks like my Crocus (star hybrid) and his body looks like my Daisy (cochin - blue). Very sweet!

Anna you crack me up girl.
How do like this cold weather? I'd planned to head to the shop today but Jenny said it was too cold to open - perhaps tomorrow afternoon. I desperately need a 'junk fix'!!!!
